The Paradoxical Commandments
by Dr. Kent M. Keith
People are illogical, unreasonable, and self-centered.
Love them anyway.
If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish ulterior motives.
Do good anyway.
If you are successful, you will win false friends and true enemies.
Succeed anyway.
The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow.
Do good anyway.
Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable.
Be honest and frank anyway.
The biggest men and women with the biggest ideas can be shot down by the smallest men and women with the smallest minds.
Think big anyway.
People favor underdogs but follow only top dogs.
Fight for a few underdogs anyway.
What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight.
Build anyway.
People really need help but may attack you if you do help them.
Help people anyway.
Give the world the best you have and you'll get kicked in the teeth.
Give the world the best you have anyway.

last Sunday, i went for a drink with my bestfren which just get back from sumwer.. with him was his older brother whim we know whenever the beer is on the table, a lot of topics to be talk about. there's one topic which attracts me the most, that is "Paradoxical But With Faith". SInce born, as we know, we are christians, but the question is, are we really are as wat we claim we are? my bestfriend claims that "humans are monkeys with religions". we were tought of God, Jesus and other bible charactors. now, he went for youth programs organized by the church and others church activities.. he was never touched by christ like other friends, Clarification on the definition of “paradoxical.” “Paradoxical” doesn't mean “contradictory” but only “seemingly” so. It's because the logic behind a paradox is deep that it is not readily evident. I'd say a paradox is "an enigmatic truth" that needs to be discovered by scratching the surface, then digging deep. Contradiction is mere irony, if not illogic. and today, he is paradoxical, but with faith..
God works in many ways in our lives..
so, bro, chill la.. Keep that faith running.. u remember our jogerthon last time? i think u still got the shirt stated " Run for Christ"..
Amen, Bro?
